Teti Struts — a filmmaker and emerging creative producer based in France. She focus on directing and producing films that blend emotional resonance with visual poetry and intentional structure. Originally from Ukraine, she moved to France in 2022 and enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in film production at a Parisian film school (graduating in 2026). Before diving into cinema, she built a diverse background.
She bring a rich background in music and digital design. She trained in classical percussion, brass conducting, and later, jazz performance artistry. She also worked as a jazz concertmaster, drum teacher, and ensemble leader, and participated in international music collaborations — including two professional contracts in China: one with a jazz band, another with an orchestral show touring the country. These experiences continue to shape how she approach rhythm, timing, sensory presence, and collaboration in film. As a digital product designer, she helped businesses/startups shape identity, user journeys, and strategic ecosystems. This background taught me to think in layers — from aesthetics and emotion to structure and scalability — a mindset that informs how she approach filmmaking as both an artist and a founder.
She is currently working on developing a feature trilogy, Chinese Suite (under ORNUMA — the international production initiative she founded — based in France, working worldwide — to support emotionally intelligent, artist-driven cinema, envisioning not just films, but interconnected cinematic systems: mediums for story and sensation that move through languages, formats, and human experience).
While still early in her journey, she is especially drawn to co-productions and cross-border collaborations — international partnerships that build meaningful work across cultures and systems.
She is following shifts in the international landscape — in funding models, formats, distribution strategies, and audience engagement, aiming to build stable bridges within European, Canadian and US sectors, with interest how current dynamic is reshaping the realm of independent cinema. Staying tuned in curiosity how it might align with (or challenge) her own vision for globally resonant storytelling, she believe in building through shared vision and thoughtful process.
